Speaking engagement agreements are necessary when the two parties meet for conference services, as these agreements help to outline all the important conditions of the relationship between the parties. This document can be used in any scenario in which a speaker and organizer wish to begin their relationship. It can be used by both parties – in other words, for an organizer or venue looking for a standard template for the speakers who are invited to it, it would be a good fit. The size of the commitment does not matter; This agreement can be used for both small and large functions. In this document are entered basic identification information about the parts, such as names and address details. Then details about the actual conference services and the event are included. This information includes fees, event details like date, time and location and, of course, what the speaker will be talking about. provide the client, by telephone or in person, with pre-event advice to define specific themes or a breakdown of what is planned to be discussed (the «Themes») as well as the speech (the «Schedules»), the format and whether the question and answer periods are applicable, if the Client wishes the speaker to be accessible by the intended target audience; whether the Speaker is required to perform certain duties (the «Spokesperson`s Obligations») in order to determine the locations (the «Sites») where the Speaker must travel to provide the Services to the Client or to comply with the Event Plan (the «Calendar») as made available to the Spokesperson by the Client and agreed in writing by the Spokesperson. The client is solely responsible for organizing this consultation before the event with the spokesperson, and failure of the consultation before the event does not constitute a violation of this agreement. Provide the agreed services to the data, times and locations agreed in the specifications. Proof of agreed costs related to the event and the performance of the spokesperson`s services and submit them to the client for approval.
